The Brothers of Judea: Why Does "Hasbara" Exist?

The trouble, of course, arrives when the outcry is based on a lie or is motivated by something other than concern for the recipients of Israel's actions. We'll take Cast Lead for example. I thought at the time (and continue to think) that ... with words instead of weapons and human shields, there would be no need for "hasbara" to exist.
